Turkmen and German companies have signed a number of agreements in the fields of consulting, logistics, and the supply of agricultural and construction equipment. The documents were signed on 30–31 October in Frankfurt am Main as part of Turkmenistan's Economy Days, according to the news website Asmannews.
The forum, organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan and ‘TMT Consulting Group’, brought together more than 50 German companies, banks and industrial associations, as well as 51 Turkmen firms and representatives of state structures. Among the contracts signed were a cooperation agreement between ‘Erbaeher+Kolb GmbH’ and ‘Eminli Maslahat’, as well as deals between ‘MÜSIAD Hessen’, ‘Asset Capital’ and ‘Bey International FDI’ with ‘TMT Consulting Group’.
The German company ‘SKM Logistics and Trade GmbH’ signed an agreement with ‘Döwrebap Ulag Merkezi’, and manufacturers ‘John Deere’, ‘Wirtgen Group’ and ‘Zeppelin Baumaschinen’ signed contracts with their Turkmen partners ‘Ojar Aziýa’ and ‘Ýaş Syýahat’.
The forum programme included plenary sessions, B2B and B2G meetings, discussions on investment, transport and logistics corridors, energy cooperation, digital transformation and the ‘green’ economy. Participants also visited industrial enterprises in Germany.
