The award ceremony for the winners of the Third International Youth Scientific Project Competition dedicated to Sustainable Development Goals was held in Ashgabat. The event was held at the S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University with the support of relevant ministries of the country. This was reported by the online publication ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

A total of 131 projects by students from 13 countries were submitted to the competition. After a two-stage selection process, the jury selected the 18 best projects, which were created by students from universities in Turkmenistan, Iran, Russia, Belarus and other countries. Particular attention was paid to the innovativeness, relevance and practical applicability of the projects.

The competition became an important platform for international scientific cooperation. The winners presented projects in the fields of ecology, rational nature management and food security. The event featured thematic exhibitions showcasing the achievements of Turkmen science in the field of environmental protection.
