On 26 June, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan donated Korean language textbooks to the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and the Turkmenistan Information Access Centre. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The Korean language department of the Turkmen university received 55 books and two bookcases, while the Turkmenistan Information Access Centre received 66 textbooks. The literature covers all levels and includes materials for listening, speaking, reading and writing.

The handover ceremony was conducted by Chae Minkyung, Second Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan, with the participation of representatives of the recipient institutions.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in the field of education and cultural exchange between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea.
