The opening ceremony of the renovated park ‘XV Years of Independence of Turkmenistan’ was held in the Turkmen capital, attended by members of the Mejlis, heads of various government departments, honourable elders, public figures and residents of Ashgabat. The event began with a ceremonial ribbon cutting and the release of white balloons and doves into the sky, symbolising peace and prosperity. This was reported by IIC.

Guests at the celebration were able to appreciate the modern landscape design and comfortable recreational facilities created in the park. Throughout the day, the park hosted art exhibitions, sports demonstrations and intellectual games for children. Musicians and dancers prepared a variety of creative performances. The winners of the competitions received commemorative gifts on behalf of the President of the country and the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

The event ended with a spectacular laser show, which left a lasting impression on everyone present.
