On 27 June, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with Kenji Sanada, Executive Director of ‘Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.’ This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

Mr. Sanada expressed his gratitude for the reception and noted that favourable business conditions in Turkmenistan and the country's achievements in economic modernisation are important for his company. He also congratulated the President of Turkmenistan on the second anniversary of the city of Arkadag.

During the meeting, the parties emphasised the high level of trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan, including the active participation of Japanese companies in the development of mutual projects.

The Head of State noted Turkmenistan's openness to new areas of partnership with ‘Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.’ and expressed confidence in the further development of mutually beneficial cooperation.
