On 22 June 2025, the grand opening of Culture Week took place in the Ahal velayat. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the participants, in which he noted the importance of the event for promoting national cultural achievements. This was reported by the online publication ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

In his message, the Head of State emphasised that holding Culture Week in the International Year of Peace and Trust is particularly symbolic. This event demonstrates Turkmenistan's success in strengthening international cooperation and preserving cultural heritage.

The Ahal velayat, with its rich historical and cultural heritage, has become an ideal venue for the festival. The programme of the Culture Week includes concerts, creative meetings, poetry evenings, and screenings of new plays and films.

In the concluding part of his address, the President of Turkmenistan wished all participants in the festival of art creative success, health and longevity.
