President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the capital of Armenia to participate in a meeting of heads of state and government held as part of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17). Thıs was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

At Yerevan International Airport, Serdar Berdimuhamedov was welcomed by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.

The trip to Armenia took place after the completion of Serdar Berdimuhamedov's working visit to Azerbaijan, where the seventh summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) was held.
