On October 27, Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, met with Feruza Madrakhimova, Rector of Urgench State University. The meeting focused on developing cooperation in higher education and science, according to the press service of Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

Feruza Madrakhimova expressed the university’s readiness to welcome students from Turkmenistan, provide suitable conditions for their studies, and expand academic ties with Turkmen universities. The parties also explored opportunities to implement joint scientific and educational projects.

Special attention was given to the participation of Urgench State University students in international subject Olympiads held annually in Turkmenistan. The participants also discussed expanding cooperation between scholars and students from the two countries through international conferences, forums, and other academic events.
