Medical centres of Turkmenistan's velayats, the capital and Arkadag city received modern laboratory equipment as part of the project ‘Strengthening the clinical and laboratory service in Turkmenistan’. This was reported by the news agency ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’.

According to the source, the medical centres were equipped with 10 sets of equipment IMMULITE 2000 XPI, which is designed for conducting diagnostic studies of various diseases using the method of Chemi Luminescent Immuno Assay (CLIA).

In addition, 15 sets of RAPIDPoint 500e Blood Gas Systems have been installed in velayats’ medical centres. These analysers are designed for rapid diagnosis of patients' condition by determining the gas composition and acid-base balance of the blood.
