On behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Gulmanova congratulated the Diplomat on her appointment and expressed hope for the strengthening of friendly ties between the two countries.
The Irish Ambassador conveyed greetings and best wishes from the country's leadership, noting her readiness to promote the development of bilateral cooperation. During the meeting, C. Brosnan was briefed on the work of the Mejlis, legislative reforms and the priorities of Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy, including cooperation with the EU.
The parties confirmed their interest in expanding their partnership both bilaterally and on the international stage. The Head of Diplomatic Mission emphasised that it was a great honour for her to represent Ireland in Turkmenistan and expressed her readiness to work on strengthening dialogue in various areas.
