On 2 July, Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov had a phone conversation with the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Central African Republic (CAR), Sylvie Baipo-Temon. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the conversation, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and considered opportunities for its further expansion. Special attention was paid to preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3).
