On 9 September, at the initiative of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Kyrgyz Republic, a round table was held in Bishkek to mark the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as to discuss the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty. The event was attended by Turkmen students and citizens of Turkmenistan living in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

During the round table, Turkmenistan's peaceful foreign policy, consistently implemented on the basis of the principles of neutrality, good-neighbourliness and mutual respect, was discussed in detail. The participants confirmed that this course, led by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and continuing the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is based on the legal status of the country's permanent neutrality, which has been confirmed three times by the international community.

Particular attention was paid to the role of state visits by Turkmen leaders in strengthening international trust and forming constructive partnerships. Participants noted that the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust reflects the recognition of Turkmenistan's peacemaking mission on the global arena.

The event concluded with the screening of video materials demonstrating Turkmenistan's achievements in various fields and its contribution to strengthening international stability.
