On 21 November, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan held a thematic event in Almaty to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. The meeting took place at the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satbayev, according to the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

It was noted that Turkmenistan's foreign policy course under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, based on the status of permanent neutrality, has received broad international support. The participants emphasised that neutrality serves as the basis for peaceful coexistence, security and sustainable development, and also strengthens the country's role as a reliable partner in international processes.

The students were told about the key events of 2025 and the preparations for the International Forum on Peace and Trust, which will take place in December.

Guests were shown a video about the socio-economic and cultural achievements of Turkmenistan. Students performed a creative programme, singing national songs, reading poems and performing dances, including the ‘kushtdepdi’.

At the end of the event, the Embassy representative held a meeting with the university administration to discuss issues related to the education of Turkmen students.
