In accordance with the Constitutional Law of Turkmenistan ‘On the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan’ and the Regulations on the Council of Elders of the Halk Maslahaty, the composition of this body has been approved. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The relevant Resolution was signed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The decision is aimed at providing organisational support for the activities of the Council of Elders, which is part of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan system.
