On 26 September, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Head of ‘Bouygues’, Martin Bouygues, who arrived in Ashgabat for the celebrations marking the 34th anniversary of the country's independence. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the corporation's management. The guests congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the holiday and noted the good conditions for foreign companies to work in Turkmenistan.

Martin Bouygues emphasised the productivity of the meeting with the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which took place on that day, and also expressed his readiness to continue cooperation.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people noted that ‘Bouygues’ has been a reliable partner of the country for more than 30 years, implementing a number of significant projects in Ashgabat. The parties confirmed their intention to strengthen Turkmen-French relations and develop joint initiatives.

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty wished the company's representatives success in their work.
