The national team of Turkmenistan delivered a strong performance at the International Olympiad in Mathematics and Natural Sciences for high school students, held from May 25 to May 30 in the Indian city of Noida at Amity University. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.
Turkmen school students won several gold, silver, and bronze medals in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
Gold medals were awarded to Muhammetmyrat Muhammetov (mathematics), Mehdi Shemmiev (physics), and Khalylmyrat Gurbanmuradov (chemistry). In addition, Gurbanmuradov also won a silver medal, Shatlyk Jumageldiev won both a silver and a bronze medal, and Yakup Nuriev received a bronze medal.
The team was prepared by teachers from the educational center “Gujurly Bilim Merkeziniň,” Dordugly Gylyjov and Meretguly Gurbangulov.
