A presentation of the book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, “Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright Path of Peace and Trust,” in Japanese was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as faculty members and students of the university.

The publication is dedicated to the historical origins and legal foundations of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, as well as the principles of the country’s foreign policy and diplomacy.

Participants noted the development of Turkmen-Japanese relations and reported that another book by the President of Turkmenistan, “Youth — The Support of the Motherland,” has also been translated into Japanese. Japanese is taught as a second foreign language at a number of higher education institutions in the country.

Previously, the book “Neutrality of Turkmenistan — A Bright Path of Peace and Trust” was published in Turkmen, Russian, English and Azerbaijani. Work on translations into other languages is ongoing.
