The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has received messages of congratulations to mark the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence. This was reported by the news agency TDH.

Messages of congratulations were sent by the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili; the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev; the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov; the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier; King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and his wife, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, Sultan Ibrahim; Emperor Naruhito of Japan; Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic; Vahagn Khachaturyan, President of the Republic of Armenia; and King Felipe VI of Spain.

The foreign leaders wished the President of Turkmenistan good health and success, and the people of the country peace, well-being and prosperity. The messages also highlighted a commitment to the further development of bilateral relations and cooperation.
