President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated his compatriots and agricultural workers on Harvest Day, noting that it symbolises respect for labour and pride in the generous gifts of the Turkmen land. This was reported by the news website Asmannews.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that the state is taking measures to develop the agricultural sector, modernise livestock farming, introduce advanced technologies and ensure food abundance.

The President of Turkmenistan noted that this year, grain farmers have delivered more than 1.4 million tonnes of wheat, and the work of farmers strengthens the prosperity of the people. The Head of State assured that Turkmenistan will continue to support agricultural workers by supplying them with equipment, fertilisers, seeds and timely payment for their harvest, creating conditions for fruitful work and a decent life.

The President of Turkmenistan wished them good health, family well-being and success in their work for the prosperity of the country, expressing his hope for the continuation of agricultural traditions and the preservation of the abundance of the Turkmen land.
