President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated participants at the opening ceremony of the new village of Bitaraplyk in the Taze Yol geneshlik of Koneurgench etrap of Dashoguz velayat. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised that this event is taking place during the International Year of Peace and Trust, when Turkmenistan is also celebrating the 30th anniversary of its neutrality, recognised by the UN.

The Head of State stressed that the country's achievements are the result of the creative work of the people and the implementation of large-scale national programmes.

According to the President of Turkmenistan, the new settlement of Bitaraplyk is evidence of accelerated development and includes 400 residential buildings, a school, a kindergarten, a cultural centre, a celebration centre and other social facilities built by Turkmen entrepreneurs.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that such projects contribute to improving the living standards of the population and strengthening the country's production potential. In conclusion, the Head of State wished the citizens health, prosperity and new successes.
