President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Turkmenistan on 4 August for a working visit. This was reported by the news agency Orient.

On 5 August, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC 3), which is also dedicated to preparations for the seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of States of Central Asia.

Bilateral negotiations with representatives of Turkmenistan are planned during the visit.
