On 3 April, a delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Perhat Yagshyev, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy, took part in the 109th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was held in Moscow. This was reported by the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The participants discussed topical issues of economic cooperation among CIS countries and exchanged views on key areas of collaboration.

A number of draft documents were also considered.

The next meeting of the CIS Economic Council is scheduled for June 2026 in Moscow.
