Representative of Turkmenistan wins international competition ‘Tatar Kyzy – 2025’

The final of the international competition ‘Tatar Kyzy – 2025’ was held in the city of Orenburg, with 12 girls from various regions of the Russian Federation and neighbouring countries taking part. The winner of the competition was Alsou Rafikova, representing Turkmenistan, who received a traditional crown, a national khasite decoration and the keys to a Lada Granta car. This was reported by IIC.

The competition events included a week of preparation in Kazan, where the participants rehearsed creative performances and got acquainted with the cultural traditions of Tatarstan. The final of the competition, held in Orenburg, was a large-scale event that contributed to the preservation of the Tatar language and culture, as well as the strengthening of interregional and international ties.

The competition was organised by the World Congress of Tatars and the Directorate of the ‘Tatar Kyzy’ International Competition with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. The final was held in Orenburg because a representative from this region won the competition last year.
