On 2 October, Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov met with Artur Andrysiak, Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Resident Mission in Turkmenistan. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation between Turkmenistan and the ADB. Particular attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan's government agencies and banking sector and the ADB's management and departments.

A separate item on the agenda was the expansion of the contractual and legal framework of the partnership, as well as the implementation of projects planned for implementation in Turkmenistan with the support of the bank.
