Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Belarus Nazarguly Shagulyyev met with Turkmen students at the Belarusian State Medical University (BSMU). The event was timed to the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, the IIC reported.

During the visit, the diplomat also held talks with the rector of BSMU Sergey Rubnikovich. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in education and science, including the quality of students' training and living conditions.

During the dialogue with the youth, the Ambassador noted the key achievements of Turkmenistan, stressing the country's commitment to a peace-loving foreign policy and principles of neutrality.

The meeting ended with the screening of video materials revealing the themes of neutrality and international initiative of Turkmenistan.
