On 4 November, at the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Indonesia, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Indonesia (residing in Kuala Lumpur) Muhammetnyyaz Mashalov with the Director-General for Protocol and Consular Affairs Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia, Andy Rachmianto, during which the Ambassador presented copies of his credentials. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Turkmenistan.

The Indonesian side congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and expressed its readiness to assist in his activities. The parties emphasised the importance of high-level contacts and discussed the prospects for organising visits by the leaders of the two countries.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to maintain regular dialogue between the foreign ministries to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.
