Ali Mojtaba Rouzbahani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, congratulated Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the government and people of Turkmenistan, noting its importance for peace, stability and development. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.

He stressed that Turkmenistan's neutral status strengthens trust and security in the region and is important for bilateral cooperation with Iran.

The Ambassador also noted Turkmenistan's initiative, due to which the UN declared 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The Head of the diplomatic mission expressed hope that the upcoming visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will strengthen relations between the countries, and wished the Turkmen people prosperity and the leadership a successful forum.
