On Saturday, 14 June, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) held a trading session, which resulted in a total volume of transactions amounting to 987 million 278 thousand 565 manats. According to the exchange's press service, participants in the auction showed particular interest in several key commodity items. This was reported by the online publication ‘Business Turkmenistan’.
On the domestic market, local entrepreneurs actively purchased road bitumen of the ‘BND 60/90’ brand, technical iodine of the highest category ‘A’, technical carbon of the ‘Y-354’ brand and high-quality fine-grained potassium chloride. These materials are in steady demand among Turkmen industrial enterprises and construction companies.
Representatives of Turkish business circles concluded a deal to purchase BND 60/90 petroleum road bitumen worth 440,000 US dollars. A total of 16 deals were concluded during Saturday's trading.
At the end of the week, the exchange turnover amounted to 2 million 283 thousand 790 US dollars and 1 billion 139 million 682 thousand 165 manats.
