Oguljahan Atabayeva, Vice-President for Medical Activities at the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, delivered a speech at the conference ‘The Role of Women in Modern Society: Promoting International Cooperation for Sustainable Development’. Oguljahan Atabayeva emphasised the importance of social and legal support for women, as well as humanitarian aid that simplifies life in the modern world.

The Vice-President of the Fund noted that in Turkmenistan, women are actively involved in all areas, from science and education to culture and public administration.

Oguljahan Atabayeva paid special attention to family values, which shape personality and strengthen society. The speech emphasised the importance of women's role in the social, cultural and economic development of the country and the significance of international cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
