The land of Turkmenistan has significant reserves of natural resources, the key ones being oil and natural gas. Their extraction, processing and sale on domestic and international markets require a high level of professionalism and considerable effort. The ‘Lebapgazçykaryş’ department plays a significant role in this area, according to the news resource AsmanNews.

From January to May this year, the company produced almost 4 billion cubic metres of natural gas. This ensured stable energy supplies to consumers, including China. Exports are carried out via the Turkmenistan-China transnational pipeline, an important link in which is the Malay-Bagtyyarlyk trunk line. During the reporting period, over 2.2 billion cubic metres of gas were transported through it, which is 160.9% of the planned volume.

Employees of the gas compressor complex at the Malay field made a significant contribution to the results achieved. The increase in production volumes was made possible by the efficient operation of the production infrastructure, major repairs to equipment and the drilling of new wells.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 14.2 thousand tonnes of gas condensate have been produced, which is 10% higher than planned. This valuable raw material is sent for processing into high-quality petroleum products at the Seydi Oil Refinery.

At the same time, work is underway to expand the resource base. Geological exploration activities carried out by specialists from the ‘Lebapnebitgazgözleg’ expedition are contributing to the discovery of new promising sites. In particular, commercial gas flows have been recorded at the Tachmyradov and Chartak sites. Recently, drillers led by Aganiyaz Akiyev successfully developed a new productive well at the North Gazlydepe field with a daily output of over 400,000 cubic metres of gas and a significant volume of condensate.
