On 1 December, on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairwoman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova accepted the credentials of the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Turkmenistan, Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Adwani. This was reported by TDH.

On behalf of the Head of State, the Chairwoman of the Mejlis congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the reception and conveyed greetings to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, greetings from the Emir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The diplomat was introduced to the structure of the Mejlis and told about the work to improve national legislation, as well as the key areas of Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador stated that he intends to actively promote the further strengthening of friendly ties between Turkmenistan and the State of Kuwait.
