President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov spoke at the international forum dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. He expressed his gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for hosting and organizing the event, according to the IIC.

Sadyr Japarov noted that the policy of neutrality has become the foundation for Turkmenistan’s stable development, contributing to economic modernization and strengthening the country’s international authority.

The President of Kyrgyzstan emphasized Turkmenistan’s contribution to regional energy security and the development of transport and logistics infrastructure. He highlighted successful cooperation in the electric power sector and the importance of transit routes.

The Kyrgyz leader particularly praised Turkmenistan’s initiative to declare 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust, which Kyrgyzstan supports. He also noted Turkmenistan’s active role in promoting dialogue in Central Asia through international conferences and consultations among regional leaders.
