The arrival in Ashgabat of leading global textile machinery developers, who form the technological backbone of major industries in Europe, Türkiye, India and China, is elevating the upcoming industry forum to a high international level, according to the news agency Orient.
With the support of the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Trade Agency and a relevant industry association, a large-scale national Italian exhibition will take place at “TurkmenTextile Expo 2026” in June. Italy is traditionally a leader in industrial engineering solutions.
The participation of the Italian pavilion highlights the growing role of Ashgabat as an important hub for attracting investors, industrial capital and manufacturers of high-tech products.
Within the exhibition, specialists will be able to explore solutions from leading industry brands. Participants include Marzoli (spinning equipment), Savio (spinning automation), Itema (next-generation weaving looms), Stalam (high-frequency material processing), Mesdan (quality control and laboratory testing), and Color Service (robotic dosing systems and dyeing automation). Their technologies combine digital precision, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
The “TurkmenTextile Expo 2026” will take place from June 4 to 6 and will cover the entire textile production cycle—from fiber processing to the production of clothing, footwear and home textiles, as well as the supply of components, chemicals and accessories.
The forum will serve as a key platform for showcasing the export potential of Turkmenistan’s textile industry, concluding contracts and discussing prospects for regional market development. The participation of the Italian exhibition is expected to add significant commercial impact and open opportunities for the modernization of production based on European technologies.
