On 10 November, M. Mortensen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark to Pakistan, visited the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, where her meeting with A. Movlamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, was held. This was reported by the press service of the diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan in Pakistan.

During the conversation, the parties exchanged views on topical issues on the regional agenda, paying particular attention to the topics of peace, stability and sustainable development.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan presented the main priorities of the foreign policy of Neutral Turkmenistan, aimed at strengthening trust between states, developing good-neighbourly relations and creating favourable conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation. He also emphasised the importance of Turkmenistan's initiatives in the field of energy and infrastructure, which contribute to strengthening regional connectivity and economic integration.

At the end of the meeting, A. Movlamov wished M. Mortensen success in her diplomatic mission and expressed confidence that her activities would contribute to the further development of friendly relations and mutual understanding between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Denmark.
