This year, the musical community of Turkmenistan celebrates the 70th anniversary of the birth of Hudaynazar Amangeldiyev, a national artist, talented composer, teacher and researcher whose work has become an important part of the country's national culture. His multifaceted activities encompass composition, teaching and scientific research, leaving a bright mark on the history of Turkmen music. This was reported by IIC.
The composer's legacy is impressive in its diversity, ranging from light pop melodies such as ‘Bägülim’ and ‘Arkadagymyz biziň’ to large-scale symphonic and choral works. In recent years, he turned to the opera genre, creating impressive works ‘Görogly’ and ‘Ýusup we Züleýha’ which were highly praised by listeners and critics.
Amangeldiyev's scientific work is no less significant. His research in the field of choral art and Turkmen musical tradition, reflected in his dissertation and publications, has made a significant contribution to the study of national culture.
As noted by his colleagues, including conservatory teacher Enejan Nuryeva, the master's main mission has always been to sing the praises of his native land through music and to educate students devoted to the arts. Today, his works continue to be performed, uniting generations and preserving the love for Turkmen musical heritage.
