Turkmenistan's Foreign Affairs Minister Rashid Meredov and Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov had a phone conversation, where they talked about upcoming bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) scheduled for next week in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the news agency Orient.

The parties exchanged views on topical issues on the bilateral agenda and agreed on approaches to cooperation within the framework of the upcoming forum and upcoming exchanges of visits at various levels.

As a reminder, this year's St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will be held from 18 to 21 June and will be the 28th in a row. Delegations from more than 137 countries are expected to attend.
