At the Avaza Congress Centre, where the opening ceremony of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries took place, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, delivered the closing speech at the forum. This was reported by the IIC of Turkmenistan.
In his speech, Hero Arkadag expressed gratitude to the heads of delegations, UN representatives and all participants of the conference, noting the significant role of landlocked countries in the global agenda, despite their geographical limitations.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasised the stability of these states and their desire for steady development, pointing out the importance of expanding international dialogue and uniting efforts based on the principles of mutual understanding, trust and equal partnership.
‘I am confident that the joint efforts of states, international organisations and all interested parties will create new opportunities for reaching a qualitatively new level of development,’ the National Leader of the Turkmen people said.
Hero Arkadag also noted that historical experience and modern realities confirm the need for close inter-state cooperation, especially in addressing the challenges of sustainable development, strengthening stability and ensuring peace.
According to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the conference in Avaza has become another important platform for the formation of constructive approaches to global challenges and the promotion of international cooperation.
