On 1 October, Atajan Movlamov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with Sh. Memon, the new coordinator of the Pakistan’s Prime Minister's Youth Programme, Overseas Affairs, Business and Trade Linkages. This was reported by the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the strengthening of trade and economic relations and the implementation of Turkmenistan's strategic energy projects, including the TAPI gas pipeline and the TAP power line.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan also spoke about the construction of the innovative environmentally sustainable city of Arkadag.

Bilateral initiatives in trade, energy, culture and education were discussed, emphasising that the development of cooperation in these areas opens up new opportunities for long-term partnership.
