‘Türkmennebit’ State Concern and PETRONAS consider developing joint projects

On 21 October, the Chairman of the State Concern ‘Türkmennebit’ Guvanch Agajanov met with a delegation from the Malaysian company PETRONAS in Ashgabat as part of the International Energy Exhibition of Turkmenistan, according to the news website TerraNews.

The delegation included Deputy Vice President Jukris Abdul Wahab, Vice President Mohd Redhani bin Abdul Rahman, CEO of PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd Ismadi bin Ismail, Director of Strategy and Commercial Activities Azahari Mohd Shuid, and company representative Albert Mehtiev.

The parties discussed current and prospective joint projects in the oil and gas industry, including improving production efficiency, introducing new technologies, and expanding investments.

G. Agajanov emphasised the long-standing cooperation with PETRONAS and expressed confidence in the further strengthening of the partnership for the development of Turkmenistan's energy sector.
