As part of the XXV International Multi-Industry Exhibition and Conference “White City Ashgabat – 2026” (WCA 2026), a signing ceremony was held with the participation of representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan, relevant ministries and agencies, as well as international companies. The agreements cover digital technologies, energy, transport, industry, and urban infrastructure development, according to the publication “Turkmenistan: The Golden Age”.
A multilateral memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Communications of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, and Bitdeer Technologies Group (Singapore). The document is aimed at developing digital infrastructure and supporting the technological transformation of the economy. The Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan also concluded an agreement with the Japanese company Muroosystems Corporation on cooperation in innovation and modernization of the energy sector.
The State Concern “Türkmenhimiýa” signed a memorandum with a consortium of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. and Mitsubishi Corporation Machinery Inc. (Japan), as well as Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Turkey). The agreement provides for maintenance and repair of the ammonia-urea complex “Garabogazkarbamid.” In addition, “Türkmenhimiýa” signed a memorandum with Hong Kong Richie Sweet Co., Ltd. (PRC) to expand production and investment projects.
The Ministry of Motor Roads of Turkmenistan signed a memorandum of understanding with the German company Inros Lackner SE, as well as agreements with China’s Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. and Sinotruk Hong Kong Capital Holding Limited. The documents concern the supply of machinery, modernization of the vehicle fleet, and development of logistics infrastructure.
The Ashgabat City Administration signed contracts with the economic society “Gök depeler” for the construction of two schools for 720 students each and a kindergarten for 320 children in the residential complex Bagyr of the Büzmeýin etrap. A contract was also signed with the private enterprise “Hil merkez” for the construction of a modern medical center.
The signings at WCA 2026 confirmed Turkmenistan’s course toward expanding international cooperation, digital transformation, and the development of urban and industrial infrastructure.
