From 15 to 17 October, a delegation from Xi'an Petroleum University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational and Technical University, as well as ‘Shangqi, Ltd.’ and ‘TechMax Intelligence Technology Co., Ltd.’, visited the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University in Ashgabat to discuss the opening of a Lu Ban workshop at the university. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The visit was held as part of a year-long cooperation initiative launched by a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, Xi'an Petroleum University, Hebei Vocational and Technical University, China National Petroleum Corporation and the China Education Association for International Exchange. The document provides for the creation of the Lu Ban workshop.

The Chinese delegation familiarised itself with the renovation work being carried out on the premises of the Turkmen university in preparation for the workshop. During the visit, a working meeting was also held to discuss the details of the organisation and launch of the workshop.
