A festive parade dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence began in Ashgabat near the State Tribune complex. This was reported by TDH.

The celebrations began early in the morning with a ceremony of laying flowers at the Independence Monument. It was attended by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, leaders and representatives of the government, parliament, public associations, political parties, elders, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Ashgabat, as well as foreign guests.
