Within the framework of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in the ‘Avaza’ National Tourist Zone, Turkmen-Uzbek negotiations were held on transport cooperation issues. This was reported by the news website Turkmenportal.

The meeting was attended by Turkmenistan's Minister of Automobile Transport Begench Annadurdyev, Turkmenistan's Minister of Railway Transport Mammet Akmammedov and Uzbekistan's Minister of Transport Ilkhom Makhkamov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the field of road transport and rail transport, as well as the development of international multimodal routes using Turkmenistan's maritime infrastructure.
