Turkmen team's defender Mekan Saparov opened the score in the 59th minute. However, Svay Rieng levelled the score in the 82nd minute, taking the match into extra time.

The second extra time was decisive: in the 112th minute Altymyrat Annadurdyyev sent the ball into the opponent's goal and brought his team the title of the tournament winner.
