The ‘Arkadag’ Football Club has begun its training camp in the Bulgarian city of Bansko, which will last until 31 July. This stage will be crucial in preparing for the second half of the season and the debut in the group stage of the AFC Champions League, according to the IIC of Turkmenistan.

During the training camp, friendly matches with foreign teams are planned, with dates to be announced later. The coaching staff is focused on maintaining fitness and working on teamwork.

During the summer transfer window, the team was strengthened by three young players from ‘Ahal’: goalkeeper Seyran Ashirov, midfielder Ibrahim Amangeldiyev and striker Gurbanmuhammet Esenov. All of them represent the Turkmenistan youth national team.

‘Arkadag’ leads the national championship with 42 points and is preparing to represent the country in the AFC Champions League, which it qualified for after winning the Challenge League. The draw for the tournament will take place on 15 August.
