The 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan’s national currency will be marked with a scientific and practical conference. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov reported this on October 17 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, according to the TDH news agency.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the conference, titled “The National Manat—The Foundation for Rapid Development in a New Historical Era,” will focus on the development of the banking sector, socioeconomic reforms in the country, and the strengthening of cooperation with international financial institutions.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed officials to ensure proper preparations for the conference.
