The next meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan will be held in Ashgabat on 19 September. It will be held at the ‘Maslahat Köşgi’ Palace, according to a Resolution of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty signed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. This was reported by the state news agency TDH.

According to the document, by 1 September 2025, the Halk Maslahaty of the velayats, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, must submit to the Halk Maslahaty lists of public representatives who will form the country's highest representative body.

The meeting will be held as part of efforts to ensure broad public participation in decision-making affecting the state and public life of Turkmenistan.
