The Turkmenistan national sports acrobatics team won eight bronze medals at the 14th Asian Championships. The competition was held in the state of Goa (India), according to Turkmenportal. In men's sports sambo, Guvanch Begaliyev won silver in the 98 kg category. In combat sambo in the 58 kg weight category, Hakberdi Jumayev took second place. The Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT) is actively developing cooperation with the Asian Football Confederation in the field of refereeing. As part of this work, Turkmen futsal referee Didargeldi Kovusov took part in an AFC seminar at the Referee Academy in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), according to the IIC of Turkmenistan. The seminar is part of the AFC Referees Academy's annual programme, which includes four modules with theoretical and practical classes to develop decision-making skills on the field.
