In August, Turkmenistan hosted a number of significant international events, according to the state news agency TDH. Delegates from Turkmenistan took part in the Ninth Multilateral Forum of Northern and Central Asia on the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goals, organised by ESCAP on 4–5 September in Almaty.
