The Turkmenistan national team represented the country with dignity at the World Sambo Championships, held in Bishkek from 7 to 9 November, winning eight medals of various denominations. In men's sports sambo, Guvanch Begaliyev won silver in the 98 kg category. In combat sambo in the 58 kg weight category, Hakberdi Jumayev took second place. Among women, Sabina Agajanova won the silver medal in the over 80 kg category, and Ziba Orunova won the bronze in the 65 kg weight category. It should be noted that in the early days of the tournament, Turkmen sambo wrestlers also distinguished themselves, adding two silver and two bronze medals to the team's tally. The successful performance at the world championship confirmed the high level of training of Turkmenistan's athletes and their focus on further achievements on the international stage.
Teachers from the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding made a working trip to the Slovak Republic. Representatives of the university took part in an international training seminar held at the University of Agriculture in Nitra, according to the press service of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. The event was held from 3 to 6 November 2025 as part of the Erasmus+ programme's Green Deal for Central Asian Universities (GDCAU) project. During the seminar, participants discussed issues related to the integration of the UN Sustainable Development Goals into educational programmes, the improvement of training courses, the introduction of two new disciplines, and the development of a joint master's programme. Representatives of the academy gave presentations on the structure and content of curricula, the expected results of student training, and modern teaching methods. On 6 November, the academy delegation visited the Horse Breeding Centre of the Slovak University of Agriculture, where they learned about the organisation of the training process, methods of overcoming equestrian obstacles, and the system of veterinary examination and diagnosis of horses. As a result of the visit, the curricula for a number of disciplines were updated and the level of professional training of the academy's teachers was improved.
The Libyan Embassy in Ashgabat, as a sign of friendship and mutual respect between Turkmenistan and the State of Libya, donated 100 olive tree seedlings to Turkmenistan. Teachers from Kindergarten No. 13 in the Vekilbazar etrap of Mary velayat, Ogulgerek Annageldiyeva and Myahri Muhammetguliyeva, won first prize in the international competition ‘Teachers' Mastery: Dolls as Keepers of Cultural Heritage,’ organised by the Russian Committee of the World Organisation for Early Childhood Education (OMEP) under the auspices of UNESCO. The competition was held as part of the ‘Little Ambassadors of the Big World’ festival, according to the online news resource AsmanNews. Teachers from Turkmenistan presented their original dolls Akpamyk and Yartygulak in traditional Turkmen costumes to the jury. The works were highly praised for their artistic execution and educational potential – through play, they help children develop respect for national traditions and love for cultural heritage. The success of the teachers from Mary velayat was recognition of the contribution of Turkmen educators to the preservation and promotion of national culture at the international level.
On 10 November, an open meeting will be held in Ashgabat with a delegation of Russian medical specialists who have arrived in Turkmenistan as part of the international humanitarian project ‘Mission DOBRO,’ according to the news resource AsmanNews. During the event, participants will be able to learn about opportunities for medical education and the specifics of working in the healthcare sector, as well as ask questions to practising doctors from Russia. The Turkmen fashion house ‘Mähirli Zenan’ is preparing to present Turkmen national fashion in the United States of America. The brand, which creates exclusive products with hand-embroidered ‘keshde’, became one of the first in the country to bring Turkmenistan's ethnic fashion to the world stage. This was reported by TerraNews. In March this year, ‘Mähirli Zenan’, with the support of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, held an international fashion show in Ashgabat. The event received widespread coverage in the foreign media. The initiative to hold the show in the United States was supported by Aksenia Krupenko, President of the American company FCGroup LLC, which is involved in cultural diplomacy and the hospitality industry. The project will be a significant step in the development of Turkmenistan's cultural diplomacy, aimed at promoting the rich heritage and unique craftsmanship of the Turkmen people. The main idea behind the ‘Threads of Tradition’ project is to showcase Turkmenistan's national identity and cultural wealth using modern forms of communication. It is worth noting that ‘Mähirli Zenan’ is already well known on international catwalks: the brand represented Turkmenistan at BRICS Fashion in Russia, the Oriental Fashion Show in Paris, and also participated in the Miss Universe competition in Milan. These projects have strengthened the brand's international recognition and laid the foundation for a new ambitious step — organising a show of Turkmen national clothing in the United States.
A delegation from Turkmenistan, led by the Head of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, A. Annamyradov, took part in the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference on Public Administration. The forum, organised from 6 to 7 November by the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA), brought together about three thousand participants from seven countries, according to ‘Turkmenistan: Golden age’. The conference discussed current trends in improving public administration, the integration of scientific research and modern technologies into management processes, and the exchange of experience between representatives of the scientific community, civil service and business community. Speaking at the plenary session ‘Global Trends and Best Practices in Public Administration,’ A. Annamyradov presented the experience of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, where conditions have been created for the training and professional development of managers and civil servants in accordance with modern requirements. Also, on 7 November, a meeting was held between the Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan, A. Annamyradov, and the Rector of the Presidential Academy of Russia, A. Komissarov. During the negotiations, the parties emphasised the importance of the current cooperation agreement and discussed the further development of joint educational programmes aimed at improving the professional competence of civil servants in Turkmenistan and Russia, improving the training of teaching staff and implementing joint scientific projects.
Annamammet Annayev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Romania, met with Stefan Vuza, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chimcomplex, according to the news website Asmannews. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree awarding a group of citizens with the ‘Watana bolan söýgüsi üçin’ medal, timed to coincide with the Harvest Holiday. High state awards were presented for significant contributions to strengthening the country's independence and sovereignty, developing agriculture, loyal service to the Motherland, and many years of conscientious work. The medal was awarded to representatives of various sectors of the agricultural complex — specialists in agricultural and water management structures, machine operators, livestock breeders, tenants of dayhan associations, agronomists and workers of food industry enterprises from all regions of the country. As noted in the Decree, the award is intended to encourage citizens who have made a significant contribution to the development of agriculture in Turkmenistan and the strengthening of the country's food security.
The Football Federation of Turkmenistan (FFT) is actively developing cooperation with the Asian Football Confederation in the field of refereeing. As part of this work, Turkmen futsal referee Didargeldi Kovusov took part in an AFC seminar at the Referee Academy in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), according to the IIC of Turkmenistan. The seminar is part of the AFC Referees Academy's annual programme, which includes four modules with theoretical and practical classes to develop decision-making skills on the field. The final test will determine which referees will be included in the AFC's elite list of futsal referees and will be able to work at international tournaments under the auspices of FIFA and the AFC. D. Kovusov's participation reflects the priority of the FFT – systematic training and professional development of national referees to ensure a high level of refereeing and successful representation of Turkmenistan on the international stage.

The parties agreed to maintain regular interdepartmental contacts to strengthen cooperation between the two states.
